A Proud Star Trek Tradition Since 1974

STARFLEET is the oldest continuously operating Star Trek Fan Organization in the world. Founded back in 1974, when there were only 79 original live-action Star Trek episodes and no movies yet, STARFLEET has grown over the years to thousands of members. We’re all about having fun, making friends, and keeping the ideals of Star Trek alive and healthy into the future.

IC2009: In Memory of our Fallen...
News
Sunday, June 21, 2009
ic2009-smallGreetings STARFLEET!

As some of you are aware, we have lost many members over the last year. The IC2009 Staff desires to hold a moment of silence and a presentation review of all those we have lost since the last IC. Similar to what they do each year at the academy awards. In addition to this, we will be designating a seat in the front row of the General Session as a "Missing Man" seat with special IC badges attached for those we have lost and wish to remember.

What we need from you is a photo, name, rank and position of those who have passed since the last International Conference.

Commanding Officers, please send these items to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for inclusion in the event.

IC2009 is shaping up to be a history making event. We hope to see as many of you there as possible.

RC's, please crosspost this to your regional lists so that we may honor as many of our fallen comrades as possible.

Thank you for your attention.

In service,

Admiral Johnathan Simmons
Public Affairs Officer (PAO)
