As of this date, I have received word from the Inspector General's Office that, in the matter of the Region 5 Regional Coordinator Election, Captain Joseph Fuller has received a majority of the nominations cast and has met the eligibility requirements to serve as the Regional Coordinator.

So, in accordance with STARFLEET rules, Captain Joseph Fuller is hereby recognized as the winning said election and is now appointed to the position of Regional Coordinator of Region 5. Additionally, in accordance with the minimum rank requirements for a Regional Coordinator, I am promoting Joseph Fuller to the rank of Fleet Captain.

Fleet Captain Fuller , you are to formally assume the command of Starbase 5 and the Fifth Fleet. Also, the USS Thermopylae is authorized to serve as the Flagship of Region 5.

I look forward to your continued participation on the Admiralty Board as the representative of STARFLEET Region 5.
