List of Scholarships
From Doctors and Veterinarians to foreign language and engineers, from music and law to space and beyond, STARFLEET has a scholarship to fit many interests and fields of study. Most are based upon an actor’s character or interest and many have been sponsored by the actors themselves. One also memorializes Gene Roddenberry for his love of writing and STARFLEET’s wishes to encourage future writers. There is also one that honors the Mercury, Challenger, and Colombia astronauts and Russian cosmonauts that have died to further our efforts in space exploration. It is a "general duty" scholarship and applies to all courses of study.
Over the years, the number and variety of our Scholarships have grown. The following is a list of the current Scholarships that STARFLEET offers:
MEDICINE - DeForest Kelley/Dr. Leonard McCoy Medical Scholarship This is for medical studies and is awarded for programs ranging from medical school to nursing school to physical therapy, pre-med to EMT-Paramedic, surgical technician to biomedical technician.
