Job Description: The Financial Assistant is responsible for confirming the payments for all new members/renewals, following up on returned checks and other membership processing financial issues. The Financial Assistant will also assist in auditing data entry activity in Quickbooks, assisting with the balancing of the bank accounts and the Quickbook ledgers. The Financial Assistant wills serve as a backup for the CFO and Vice CFO on an as needed basis and may need to assume some or all of their duties if necessary.

Responsibilities:

Confirm payments for new members/renewals in conjunction with membership processing.

Follow-up on all returned checks or uncompleted e-checks.

Assist with auditing of Quickbook data entry

Assist with balancing of bank accounts and Quickbook ledgers.

Serve as backup for the CFO and/or the Vice CFO on an as needed basis, assuming some or all of their duties/responsibilities.

Job Description: The Membership Perk Coordinator is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of current membership perks, for locating new member and chapter perks (in cooperation with and by approval of the Commander, STARFLEET), and for promoting the perks to STARFLEET members and chapters. The Membership Perk Coordinator does not sign new contracts for perks, but locates the available perks, provides the information to the CS, and works with the CS to maintain current perks and bring new perks online for members and chapters

Responsibilities: • Periodically contacting perk providers to verify and update STARFLEET's contact information and to discuss our current perk status. • Locate potential new perks for both member and chapters, whether those perks be discount programs for members/chapters or complementary (AKA "free") items or services. • Review any per provider issues or concerns with the CS. • Review potential new perks with the CS and provide necessary documentation required to sign up for the perk.
