And now, when it's too late for me to make the correction, I discover that I screwed something up! Lt. Cmdr. Franklin Newman III of the USS Empress in R13 just e-mailed me to point out two mistakes on page 32 of the new issue. It seems I inadvertently swapped his and R13RC Joe Sare's names in one of the captions. This led to the following two mistakes: 1) The photo of the author of the article (written by Joe Sare) was actually a picture of Franklin. 2) The photo of the person answering the trivia question was Brigadier Joe Sare, and not Lt. Cmdr. Franklin Newman as was printed in the caption.
