It's a long and complex process growing into a full-fledged chapter... but you don't have to do it alone... The following are resources to help you solve many common problems, and contacts to STARFLEET staff members that can help solve many more:

Choosing your shuttle's name & class:

Department of Technical Services (DTS)
DTS approves the Ship classes/designs NCC#'s for all the Shuttles/Chapters in STARFLEET. If you have any questions about any shuttle/ship design in the Star Trek Realm, Alex will have an answer for you!

Advanced Starship Design Bureau (ASDB)
Have something different in mind? ASDB assists shuttles in the creation of new classes of vessels.

STARFLEET's Correspondence Chapter Department
This Department is responsible for assisting those Shuttles/Chapters that do not choose to hold regular monthly meetings because of distance between members or for other reasons.

Launching your shuttle:

STARFLEET Document Center
This is where you can download all the documents needed by individual STARFLEET members and chapters, including the Vehicle Registration Request form and SFI membership applications.

STARFLEET Computer Operations
The SFI CompOps site allows you to:

  • Lookup your membership information
  • Check to see if your application has been processed
  • Change your address or other information via email
  • Request a full copy of your information
  • Contact membership processing via email or postal mail with any other questions
  • Download tutorial documents, to help you and your crew members learn to use the SFI Database

Starfleet Academy
Remember, the CO and XO of your chapter will need to pass OTS (Officer Training School) before launching your shuttle, and pass OCC (Officer Command College) before the shuttle can commission as a "Starship/Space Station" (Chapter) in Starfleet. There are also many other "fun" courses available for Starfleet members to take!
